2018 U.S. Open Beer Championship Results!
With more than 6,300 beers entered from breweries all around the globe, it gives us great pride to share that North Carolina brought home
26 medals from the 2018
U.S. Open Beer Championship. Entries were submitted to more than 110 different styles. Unique to the U.S. Open, homebrewers were allowed to be judged against commercial breweries. Winning beers from the American Homebrewers Association's National Homebrew Competition competed against breweries from all over the world and one of North Carolina's own homebrewers, David Byer, brought home a silver for his American Stout.
