NC Craft Beer, Wine & Cider return to the NC State Fair in 2018

More than 20,000 people are expected to sample North Carolina made craft beer, wine, and cider at the Our State Public House, returning to the NC State Fair October 11-21. Nestled in a pair of historic log cabins in picturesque Heritage Circle, the Public House quickly became a popular attraction at the 2017 Fair. The Public House provides a relaxing space to meet friends for a beer or glass of wine in a laid-back, off-the-midway setting, plus, its front porch is the ideal location to enjoy the nightly fireworks display and laser light show.

Visitors to the Our State Public House can expect a diverse offering of products from dozens of North Carolina breweries, wineries, and cideries. Each ticket costs $10 and provides your choice of two of the following: 8-ounce pour of beer, 3-ounce pour of wine, or 8-ounce pour of cider. Unlike the pre-determined flights in 2017, this year's customers will have their choice of any beer, wine, or cider offered.

Also new this year is an advance ticket option. Fair visitors can select a “Kegs & Corks pass” when they purchase advance State Fair tickets, available online until October 11 . The $15 bundle includes one FastTrack Gate Admission Ticket and one Our State Public House Admission ticket.

The Our State Public House opens at 3 PM on Thursday October 11 and is located inside Gate 8 in Heritage Circle, between the Tobacco Pavilion and the Flower Show. Operating hours are 12 PM -10 PM daily. Tickets are $10 each, and ID’s will be checked at the door.
