It’s that time of year again: the NC State Fair is just around the corner and, with the fair, comes our annual NC beer competition, the North Carolina Brewers’ Cup. In its fourth year, the NC Brewers’ Cup is a BJCP (Beer Judge Certification Program) sanctioned beer competition that we encourage both commercial brewers and home brewers to enter.
How To Enter
Registration is 100% online and all submissions must be entered before SEPTEMBER 16, 2016 at 11:59 P.M. to be considered. Click here to register online.

How to Volunteer
Interested in being a part of this year’s judging team for the NC Brewers’ Cup? We would love to have you! This year’s competition will be held September 30th, 2016 through October 2nd, 2016. (Set-up will be on Thursday September 29th.) We have two volunteer sessions each day (8:30 A.M.-12:00 P.M. and 1:00 P.M.- 5:00 P.M.). Beer, food, and fun are sure to be a part of your day!
We are seeking volunteers to fill the following positions:
- Set-Up Volunteers (for Thursday’s set-up)
No experience is required to participate. However, if you have previous competition experience and will be available for the full three days (Friday through Sunday), please consider volunteering as our Judge Director or Head Steward. Sign up to volunteer now!
