Designed especially for our state’s small and growing breweries, this Guild educational seminar will give breweries of many different shapes and sizes, including breweries-in-planning, much to learn and consider. The event will also include a mini trade show on both days, and all tickets include a networking dinner at Front Street Brewery and after-dinner social sponsored by the Cape Fear Craft Beer Alliance.

Description: Agriculture and agribusiness, including food, forestry and fiber, contributes $84 billion to the state’s economy. The N.C. Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services has a wide variety of programs and services to help a wide variety of businesses. We work to promote NC products to our neighbors and the world.

3:00pm – Making the Most of Your Brewery’s Retail Sales Privileges: When, Where, and How

Description: Robust retail sales are a key component of a successful small and growing brewery. Learn how to legally make the most of your brewery’s retail sales privileges to make profitable and positive connections with consumers. This session will outline the laws allowing sales in taprooms, additional retail locations, and at special events, provide guidance on promotional regulations, and discuss a brewery’s ability to engage in shipping and delivery.
