NC Craft Brewers Guild Announces Lowes Foods “Official Grocer of NC Beer”

August 8, 2022 - The NC Craft Brewers Guild is thrilled to announce that Lowes Foods will be the “Official Grocer of NC Beer.”

With the development of its Beer Dens, in-store brewpub, The Hunt Club enthusiast program, efforts to stock self-distributed NC beers, and many, many “collaBEERations” within North Carolina’s beer community, Lowes Foods is truly helping to move the dial for locally produced NC Beer.  “With the initiation of this agreement, we are delighted to help showcase the incredible commitment Lowes Foods has made to our independent NC craft beer community,” said Lisa Parker, Executive Director of the NC Craft Brewers Guild. “Uniting North Carolina’s homegrown craft beer with the state’s most innovative homegrown grocer makes sense,” said Parker.

The partnership is uniquely structured to engage NC craft beer fans and industry members.  Opportunities will include on-site presence at premier Guild hosted events throughout the year. Additionally, Lowes Foods will serve as the presenting sponsor of NC Beer Month and Hop Into Spring, both consumer-focused #NCBeer seasonal promotions that encourage craft beer enthusiasts to explore the great State of Southern Beer, and find local beers, “in the wild”.  Additionally, this October, you will find a satellite Beer Den inside this year’s NC Public House at the North Carolina State Fair, which features dozens of breweries and wineries from across North Carolina.

Lowes Foods was founded in 1954, and now based out of Winston-Salem; operates 81 full-service supermarkets in the Carolinas.
